Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion

Volunteers are needed to be Eucharistic ministers at all weekend services. Ministers go through a training and are commissioned by the Archdiocese of New Orleans prior to serving. Parish training is usually held once a year at Holy Name of Jesus Church. Extraordinary ministers who serve at weekday services also act as altar servers, sacristans and leaders of the daily recitation of the rosary.
