journey Men's group
Responding to the Invitation of Jesus to be Men for Others Fridays, 6 a.m., Live or via Zoom
Journey meets on Friday mornings to pray, read spiritual writings, and have authentic discussion about the call to love God and neighbor. It is a place of confidential encounter where questions and honest sharing are welcomed. There is no preparation necessary.
Feel free to attend any Friday morning at 6 a.m.. The group gathers in the Adoration Chapel at the Parish Center (6220 LaSalle Place, at Palmer Ave.) for silent prayer then moves to a meeting room for Scripture reading, prayer, and discussion until 6:55. Members attend in person or via Zoom.
Journey launches a new chapter this Advent, and in 2021 Journey will provide opportunities for men (outside of the Friday morning meetings) to be brothers to the imprisoned, the homeless, the poor and the lonely.
