The Parish School of Religion (PSR) is open for all children, kindergarten through 10th grade. Children gather in grade-level classes and learn about their faith in an age-appropriate way. Children are taught the doctrines of the Catholic faith, how to pray with Christ, the meaning of liturgy and the sacraments.
PSR includes sacramental preparation for First Reconciliation and First Eucharist. Preparation for both sacraments is a two-year process beginning in first grade and with the reception of the sacraments in second grade. Parish School of Religion classes are held Sunday mornings from 9-10 a.m. in the Holy Name of Jesus School building.
